Reproduction and DNA Test

The test on meiosis, sexual reproduction, asexual reproduction, and DNA structure and replication will be on Thursday, November 9.  Be sure to refer to your study guide and use the online study tools like quizlet and the quiz option in the eBook to help you study.

Genetics Week 7

This week in class we will learn about the different methods of asexual reproduction.  We will also compare sexual and asexual reproduction.  Genetics Test corrections are due this Thursday.  Students should be making arrangements to stay after school on either Tuesday or Wednesday this week.

Genetics Week 3

This week we will discuss Human Genetic Disorders.  We will learn about traits that are connected to the gender chromosomes and use Punnett Squares to show how males are more likely than females to inherit gender linked traits.  We will wrap up our unit on Genetics this week with a test on Tuesday, October 3.
